Indian market and the Digital Influx

The digital world has seen a revolutionizing change in the last few decades or so. There have been numerous products which have taken the market y storm one day and faded the next. It has been some sort of a crazy game which has seen new players being introduced with amazing frequency. While the manufacturers have gone crazy trying to meet the demand of the people and the competition in the industry, the consumers have enjoyed the diverse delicacies being offered to them.

Samsung has emerged as one of the strongest superpowers in this battle of dominion, especially in the Indian market. It is one o the most successful players overall, and the leading market share holder in the field of mobiles. One of the reasons for this continued success can be the fact that they have diversified fairly quickly. Household appliances are one of the biggest markets that the Korean Giants have targeted, and the gamble seems to have paid off in the form of rich dividends. Fridge, TV, and microwave oven products manufactured by Samsung seemed to have taken the buyer’s fancy.

They have adopted a strategy of aggressive promotion mixed with product innovation which has so far, achieved what it set out for. Samsung has been able to generate a stable consumer base and their new products have only bolstered that base.

Another interesting thing to note is the influx of new entrants in the digital market. They have been a revelation of sorts and have forced the bigwigs to be on their toes due to their feature loaded products that offered at unbelievable prices. The only thing that is keeping them from sweeping the market is the fact that they are yet to establish a brand value for themselves.

The present day digital atmosphere offers up a stark contrast for the manufacturers and the buyers. While the providers are finding it difficult to keep up with the rising competition and the perennial innovation demands, the buyers are lapping up the huge array if choices available to them, that too at substantially low prices. The future, as it seems now, seems to be heavily loaded on the consumer’s side as well!
