Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Rumor Round Up, Launch Date and Much More
The smartphone industry is once again abuzz and the name doing circles is also a familiar one. Samsung, the biggest threat to Apple’s inimitable cartel in this highly competitive segment, is all set to roll out its much-awaited Note 4 – the successor of Note 3, which is unarguably one of the most versatile products released by the South Korean manufacturer. One quick web search and you will realize the exceptional intensity with which rumor mills are grinding metal, validating a great deal of expectations and speculations linked surrounding the release.
Though there has been no formal announcement of the release date, Yoon Han-kil, senior vice president of Samsung’s product strategy team, told Reuters that the company plans to release a new version of Note in the second half of the year, without providing any further insights. Back in January, Lee Young Hee, the executive vice president of Samsung's mobile division, in an interview with Bloomberg, hinted at the possibility of the Note 4 using a three-sided display that will promise better readability from an angle and will be aimed at serious professional users.

What We Know
If online forecasts are anything to go by, it would be safe to say that Note 4 will package a lot of new features for buyers, with the highly talked “wraparound screen” resting right on top of the list. While no one has any confirmed information regarding the feature set of the Note 4, we do know that it may come with a 4K resolution screen, and much to the disappointment of Android aficionados, the phablet will not have a 64-bit processor. Samsung, the company that sells one of every three smartphones sold around the world, has said that the company has postponed its plan to release it highly awaited and sorely missed android compatible 64-bit chips, which will now be unveiled by next year.
Another interesting bit about the Note 4 is its speculated design. According to Galaxy Club – a popular online community dedicated to Galaxy smartphones – Samsung has filed a patent request for a mobile device with a distinctive no bezel design. Here is what the designs look like:
