Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. Apple iPhone 6: Comparison of Top Upcoming Devices

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Apple iPhone 6 have already created a buzz in the smartphone arena, before their actual launch. Both being the branded products, make it a tough choice for buyers. However, the following comparison will give you a detailed analysis of the compared features of both the devices.

Unlocking feature: Samsung Note 4 comes with an unlocking feature that will require simply writing on the screen. On the other hand iPhone 6 might follow the league of its predecessor iPhone 5s that comes with fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.

Screen size:


Comparing the size of the screen- Note 4 display is 5.9 inch wide with comparatively higher display resolution whereas Apple is planning to launch its first wide screen iPhone 6  with 5.5 inch display.

Display:


The Note 4 phablet claims to have 2K resolution, instead of Full HD and iPhone 6 is coming up with improved resolution as compared to iPhone5s.

Camera:


Talking about camera, Samsung Note 4 is expected to have an in-built 20.7 MP camera which is way more than its predecessor Samsung Galaxy S4 with 13 MP camera. Moreover, the camera supports the optical image stabilization, a much sought after feature missing from other Samsung phones. You will also be able to record 4K videos (movie hall quality). However, its counterpart iPhone 6 has maintained 8MP in-built camera just like iPhone 5s.

Processor:


Samsung Note 4: It comes with an in-built 4 GB RAM that supports 64-bit processors in order to make full use of computing capabilities. The rumors has it that Samsung Note 4 could be the first device to pack the new 64-bit QUALCOMM snapdragon 810 chipset

iPhone 6:


Apple A8 64-bit processor.

Software:


Samsung Note 4 is powered with next version of android OS named as 4.5 Lollypop whereas iPhone 6 is expected to support latest version of iOS i.e. iOS 8.

To sum up, the above comparison makes it clear that Samsung is all set to roll its latest high-end Note 4 in the market that has undergone some subtle and improvised features while retaining the overall look and feel of note 3. Though the launch date of both the devices is not yet clear, it is likely that the Note 4 will be unveiled in august or September this year however apple seems to have delayed the launch of its Apple iPhone 6 until next year.
